Gregg Richhart, President & Co-Owner of Star Homes and GRD Group
Gregg began his career with Star Homes in 1984 as a laborer under the tutelage of Delbert Delagrange, one of the founders of Star Homes in 1960. Gregg was required to learn and perform all the tasks needed to build a solid, long lasting home. After several years of on the job training he assumed the role of President. He is involved each day in the process of managing a successful construction company and in the process of guiding it into the future. He is a past Board Member of the Home Builders Association and a highly respected leader of the tri state construction industry.

Roger Delagrange, Co-Owner of GRD Group
Roger is one of the originators of the “Villa Concept” in Allen County and adds more than 30 years of home building and developing expertise to the GRD Villa Group. His home building history dates back to the early 70’s when he began working for his Uncle Delbert. Delbert taught Roger, from the ground up, that hard work and honesty would pay off. In 1976 Delbert started Roger and his brothers in their own building company from which Roger began his development career. Roger’s continued dedication and commitment to quality and service to the home buying public is a tribute to Delbert’s legacy.

Shawn Richhart, Co-Owner of Star Homes
While no longer involved in the daily management of Star Homes, since 1988 Shawn has counseled with Gregg to enhance the Star Homes Brand and to position Star Homes in the home building market to thrive in all economic conditions. She has great intuitive skills and a talent for analyzing people and situations.

Justin Doxsee, Home Designer-Project Manager
Justin will be celebrating 20 years with Star Homes in 2010. Using AutoCAD he works directly with the Sales Manager and New Home Consultants to prepare custom floor plans and elevations for prospective home owners to review. Upon approval, he prepares the construction drawings and initiates the start of construction.

Gary Richhart, Information and Cost Manager
Gary has guided Star Homes since 1993 through the extraordinary advancements of information technology while developing and maintaining an accurate construction cost system. Gary spends his “free time” volunteering with national disaster relief teams, such as the Hurricane Katrina Recovery Effort and working with church related ministries.

Sarah Gremaux, Office Manager
Since 1996 Sarah has been addressing home owners concerns, scheduling service work, assisting home owners with their selections and processing accounting documents. She enjoys the hectic life of three school aged children. When time permits she enjoys walking, being outside, and spending time with friends and neighbors.

Brenda Mailfait, Controller
Brenda has 30 years experience in accounting, twelve of those years with Star Homes. As Controller she manages all financial transactions, maintains accounting records, prepares interim financial reports and oversees the year end closing. She has been married for 25 years and enjoys watching her son attend Trine University and helping her daughter plan her fall of 2009 wedding. She enjoys being outside when the weather is nice, working in the yard, and taking walks.

Susan Moran, Interior Designer
Susan is the owner of First Impressions. She studied Interior Design at Purdue University, Fort Wayne, and as a result was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. After playing a significant role in Star Homes winning "Best Overall House" in the 1996 Parade of Homes, Susan partnered with Star Homes to work with all of their homeowners. From her experience and education Susan has the talent to provide design guidance, work within specifications, and help relieve some of the anxiety clients may have surrounding their project. "My career is a dream made possible. I have learned so much and look forward to exploring additional exciting projects alongside new homeowners and the Star Homes staff."

Carl Ward, Sales Manager
Carl has over 35 years of experience in new home construction beginning in 1974 with Ben Bunt Construction followed by owning a home construction company. Since joining Star Homes in 1996 Carl has directed the activities of the New Home Consultants while working closely with his personal clients. He has been involved with the design and construction of hundreds of upscale custom homes in the Tri-State area. Relaxation comes from golfing and fishing.

Holly Delagrange-Lemler, New Villa Consultant
Holly is beginning her 12th year working with her father, co-owner of GRD Group. She is highly experienced with all stages of Villa construction including interior and overall design. Her natural creative talents combined with her inherited design talent from her mother Diane, has equipped Holly to advise all levels of Villa buyers. Like her parents, Holly believes in hard work and helping to give the Villa owner a rewarding experience and delivering a world class Villa.

John Lemler, New Villa Consultant
John has been with GRD Group since 1999 and focuses on Villa design and sales. He is instrumental in selecting sites for new Villa communities and placement of new villas on the lot. John is a Board Member of the Fort Wayne Home Builders Association and a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber.

Cindy Ward, New Home Consultant
Cindy joined Star Homes in 2007 to be the New Home Consultant for the Azbury Woods community. She began her career as a Real Estate Closing Coordinator with Ben Bunt Construction in 1976 and later became a Closing Agent for Three Rivers Title Insurance Company. Cindy also has her own interior design company which keeps her busy along with her hobby of gardening.

Glenn Conkling, Lakes Region Manager
Glenn recently joined Star Homes to expand Star Homes involvement around the lakes in northern Indiana and south eastern lower Michigan. Glenn has 20 years experience with home design and land development. He is a past Board Member of the Fort Wayne Home Builders Association and a Graduate of Indiana University.

Tim Peters, Construction Superintendant
For forty years Tim has been the “Field General” for Star Homes. Working through the Construction Foremen, he schedules material deliveries and manages the craftsmen responsible for all aspects of building a Custom Home. Tim continues to build homes and meet homeowner’s expectations by using the skills he learned from Delbert Delagrange.

Robb Divelbiss, Construction Foreman
For nearly a decade Rob has been on site working with sub contractors and home owners in an effort to complete the home on schedule and to meet Star Homes expected level of fit and finish. He installs cabinets, exterior siding and completes the finishing details.

Since 2004, Noah a world level craftsman, has been on site working with the sub contractors and homeowners to complete projects on time and to the home owners expectations. He installs cabinets, exterior siding and completes the finishing details.

Jerry Easterwood
Every successful builder needs a Jerry. His willingness and skills to perform any task to finish a home on time have played a significant role in Star Home’s longevity. Subs, suppliers, employees and homeowners have counted on Jerry as the “get it done” guy since 1998.
